Happy New Year!

It's time to mark a new beginning as we usher in the new year. If you’re one of my many regular visitors, you may have noticed that the addition of new recipes has slowed over this past year. Our family has changed its focus from adding new recipes to highlighting the many favorites that have been part of our family traditions for generations.

We are also attempting to make the site as user-friendly as possible in this age of enhanced technology. Here are a few of the new things we'll continue working on at Nana's Recipes:

• Printing individual recipes isn't always as easy as it should be. We've added a new page designed to help you print the recipes you desire.
• We've begun alphabetizing the recipes on each recipe category page. The first completed page is for "Soups" — a page that’s visited very often this time of year!

The Holiday Season is a busy time for all of us — Nana’s house, and website are no exceptions. We received a huge spike in visitors during the days that preceded Thanksgiving. Another spike hit us in the days preceding Christmas (see graphs below). The "Chocolate Cookies" page was the most viewed — it attracted over 20% of the hits of all our pages, and that makes me especially happy as chocolate is my specialty!
