Summer Salad Suggestions

At Nana's home in Northern California, it's summer time. This is the time of year that's perfect for outdoor BBQs and picnics — by a river, at a park, or any other special place.

This month we've assembled a selection of salad recipes that are perfect for any casual outdoor event. We invite you to pick and choose from the list to prepare a picnic lunch, or dinner, for those special to you.

Safety Note: Some picnic foods are perishable. Be particularly careful with salads with ingredients that spoil quickly (for example: mayonnaise). To be safe, put everything in a cooler with lots of ice.
