Monthly Update March 2006

Nana for Breakfast?!

Recipe contributor Allen Shrode designed a special breakfast treat that has put smiles on the faces of both his children and grandchildren. He calls it "Smiling Breakfast." We call it "Nana Breakfast" because a major ingredient -- the smile-- is a banana! (See images at right.)

These simple to create breakfast meals are not only fun to look at, they are also fun to eat...and nutritious too! The eyes are English Muffins with peanut butter and jelly. The nose is a hard boiled egg. And, the smile comes from the banana. Watch for more kid-friendly recipes in the coming months.

We received an average of 700 visitors per day in February 2006.
