Monthly Update
April 2005

Nana's dear Aunt and recipe contributor, Shoney Rosanna (Perri) Gustafson, died peacefully in her loving daughter's arms after a brief illness. Shoney is survived by her daughter, Victoria Bottini, her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Loren Rupnow, and many nieces & nephews.

Shoney Rosanna Gustafson

May 30, 1916 - March 20, 2005

Shoney worked at the Richmond, California Police Dept. for many years. In 1981 she retired from Chevron in Richmond. Shoney had a great sense of style and elegance. She loved her Beta Sigma Phi Sorority sisters and her many friends from the Elks, Moose and Peace Officers Association. She will be greatly missed by everyone who touched her life.

Shoney contributed her unique Spinach Casserole and Vermicelli with Anchovies dishes to Nana's Recipes several years ago. Look for a new cauliflower side dish from Shoney's collection next month.
