Scanning Nana's Original Recipes

We have finished scanning all 205 of the recipes in Nana's recipe file tin. A total of 58 of the scans were added to the site as links near the bottom of a recipe. For example, the Cake page has links to 12 original recipes — that's almost half of the cake recipes!

We identified 22 recipes that look yummy, but are not yet on the site. Look for some of them to be added in the future.

The recipe scanning process was a tedious labor of love with the reward of knowing that Nana's recipes are preserved for future generations. Nana is smiling down from heaven, we're sure.

   Over 10,000 Facebook Likes!
        Nana’s Recipes now has over 10,000 Facebook "likes." We hit the major milestone in early summer 2022. Eleven years ago we only had 100 likes!

        It warms our hearts to know that we have touched the lives of so many with our “home cooking with flair” recipes. Please tell us how you found our website by posting your story on our Facebook page.

     Updated Recipe
        The Key Lime Pie recipe instructions were updated and a new image was added (left side of this page). The pie is light and refreshing, the graham cracker crust is a sure crowd pleaser.
