Eleanor (Dodd) Comins and I have been friends from the day we entered Woodrow Wilson Junior High School, in Oakland California, as the new kids on the block. Shortly after my husband, Jerry, and I were married we introduced Eleanor to her husband to be, Garland Comins. Garland and Eleanor celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March of 1998. Our friendship has been a long and lasting one. |
