Place a similar sized piece of wax paper on top of the greased side of the brown paper.

Now grease the wax paper.

Next we'll line both pans with the greased paper. Place the paper in the pan with the ungreased side of the brown paper against the pan and greased side of wax paper up, ready for the cake batter.

Don't worry if the lining doesn't fit perfectly -- once the batter is poured into the pan everything will fit nicely.
