Pie Crusts

Step 7

Ease the pie dough into the shape of the pan. Make sure that the dough fits smoothly (without air bubbles) on the bottom and sides.

Step 8

Use a knife to remove excess dough from the rim of the pie pan. Set aside excess dough for use in the next step.

Step 9

Don't worry if you don't have enough dough to cover completely. Imperfections are easily fixed!

Roll a small portion of excess dough between waxed paper. Cut a piece large enough to cover the needed area. Simply place the patch over the imperfection and smooth the dough into place.
